As Senior Research Scientist at the Nexus Research & Policy Center, Norma Ming has conducted multiple research projects on teaching, learning, and assessment in higher education. She is particularly interested in merging research with cutting-edge technology to create innovative, assessment-driven teaching and learning environments that combine machine intelligence with collaborative human intelligence to advance both insights and outcomes.

The goal of this blog is to explore both the potential promises and pitfalls of personalized and adaptive learning and assessment, to better understand not just what they can do, but what they should do.
